Medications used in ultrasound-guided injections may include steroids, local anesthetics, hyaluronic acid, platelet growth factors, collagen, etc., depending on the condition being treated. Ultrasound-guided injections are widely used in the treatment of joint pain, tendonitis, muscle injuries, among others.
